 “Black Madeira KK” is so named after getting known by Keith K who first sold it more widely on eBay. However this Black Madeira fig variety was originally brought to the US by Todd Kennedy and like other Black Madeira clones it is thought to come from the island of Madeira, Portugal.

Our Black Madeira KK come from Keith’s stock many years back and are big trees now.

This variety is known for producing very dense and sweet, black figs with a burgundy red flesh. 

Figs ripen on late Summer through to late Autumn.
