 “Corfu” is a renown black fig variety from the island of Kerkyra, also known Corfu island. This variety is traditionally used for the production of “Sykomaida” which is a dried fig paste based sweet also containing grapes, fennel seeds, Rakin & Cumin. Like most varieties used for making dried figs, it’s famed for having very dense and sweet flesh, and this one is exceptional at that!

Figs ripen in mid Summer through to late Autumn.
